The wait for Slice House in Longmont will stretch a little longer. The Tingus Group, the operating team behind the forthcoming location, has rescheduled its opening to early October, citing a commitment to getting the experience right before welcoming its first guests.
The delay, according to the operators, is a deliberate one. Rather than rush to hit an earlier date, the team says it's using the additional time to fine-tune the menu, the space, and — most importantly — the crew that will run it.
"We'd rather take a little extra time and open the right way than rush and cut corners," said Dean Crescenzi of the Tingus Group. "Longmont has been so welcoming, and we want our first impression to be exactly what this community deserves."

Part of that preparation is people. The operators confirmed they are still accepting applications for positions at the Longmont location as they work to assemble what they describe as an exceptional team. Interested candidates can apply here: tingusgroup.com/job-openings.

The Tingus Group has kept a visible presence in the community during the buildout, including an appearance at the recent Colorado Pizza Festival, where the team handed out promotional offers to local pizza fans. The operators confirmed that the buy-one-get-one offer from the festival will be honored and extended through October 31, 2026, giving guests a reason to visit once the doors open.
